together we're heavy

so it has been handed down from brian wilson himself (of beach boys fame) that the first song the baby should hear is "God only knows". feel free to read the whole story on my other blog. :)
i haven't felt the baby move yet, but i have been feeling the organs/intestines/whatever else shifting around and it does not feel good! in the middle of the night, i sneezed and it woke me up because it hurt so bad in my side. elliott was concerned that it had somehow hurt the baby, but i assured him that i read that this happens and it is normal. i just didn't expect it to be that painful. hopefully that will subside some?!?! i have started getting up much more gingerly after several times of getting up too quickly and it causing pain (nothing as bad as the sneeze). i am starting to feel a lot more pregnant and big.
now that we know the baby can hear, we've been talking to it more. this morning, e sang the love boat theme song to it. what a great childhood this kid will have...it'll be like the 70s, but with all of the modern coveniences of the 2000s-directv, ipods, cds, etc...what a life!
